What is distance adoption?
Remote adoption is not only a short-term help. It is much more than that. It is a step towards stopping the vicious cycle of hunger, poverty and hopelessness. It is the gift of the best tool to get out of extreme poverty – education.
356 million children worldwide live in extreme poverty. This means that every sixth child in the world is constantly starving, has no access to basic hygiene measures, clothes and often shelter. Their only chance to get out of poverty permanently is through education. Unfortunately, as many as 258 million children in the world do not have a chance to go to school.
By adopting one of the ADRA Foundation children remotely, you provide him with food and shelter needed to survive, but most of all you provide him with education. Thanks to your regular contributions, your ward has a chance to finish school, get a good education and find a job that will allow him and his family to exit poverty and live a dignified life. Remote adoption is a gesture that will pay off in the future, changing it for the better.

Whom do we support?
We support children in need from Kenya, Tanzania and Bangladesh. In each of these countries, the situation of children is slightly different, but they have one thing in common – they require urgent and special help. Orphaned children From Kenya face hunger and a lack of drinking water, albino children from Tanzania need shelter because their lives are in danger, and the youngest inhabitants of Bangladesh are forced to work from an early childhood due to extreme poverty.
