ADRA Tanzania, our local partner, is seeking volunteer experts to support the rebuilding and development of community programs post-pandemic. You’ll have the opportunity to work locally — on-site in Tanzania, sharing your experience and expertise.
A Special Mission – Supporting People with Albinism
One of our primary goals is to support the community of people with albinism. Your involvement will help us run educational, social, and aid initiatives for this particularly vulnerable group.
Who Are We Looking For?
Volunteers experienced in areas such as:
- Communication and social media (creating content, documenting field work, running a blog or newsletter, training local staff in effective communication)
- Artificial intelligence and training its applications in organizational work and communication
- Marketing (developing marketing strategy for a new tourism center and training in effective promotion)
- Fundraising (innovative fundraising approaches, donor relations, building sustainable funding sources)
- Project design and grant writing (helping to prepare coherent and effective project proposals)
- Accounting (optimizing organization finances)
- Agrobusiness and agricultural technologies (training in greenhouse cultivation, processing, mushroom farming, irrigation)
- Climate change and renewables (supporting green initiatives — from environmental education to practical adaptation and renewable energy solutions)
- Tourism, hospitality, and business development (planning, development, and management of a tourism center near Arusha)
How the Trip Works?
You can volunteer for 3 to 12 months to provide substantial support to local teams. We also organize short missions, lasting 2–8 weeks, focused on specific tasks.
Beyond work, enjoy unforgettable moments: Kilimanjaro treks, Serengeti safaris, relaxing on Zanzibar, and immersing in Maasai culture. A blend of mission and adventure you’ll never forget.
Living Conditions
- Volunteers cover their own travel and living expenses.
- We provide lunch on weekdays and affordable accommodation in ADRA Guest House.
- We assist with arranging the appropriate visa (tourist, business, or student)
- The ADRA Tanzania office is located in a scenic area, just 70 km from Kilimanjaro!
Estimated Costs of the Trip
Visa costs: 50–250 USD (depending on the type of visa)
Round-trip flight Poland–Tanzania: 500–1000 USD
Accommodation: 50–100 USD per month
Food expenses: 5–10 USD per day
